Displaced in Media Conference

On Thursday 14 June, the BFI will host a free conference facilitating conversations between refugees and media organisations across Europe, with the aim of developing more inclusive partnerships to better enable refugees and migrants to represent themselves and tell their own stories in the media.

Events will include a panel debate, roundtable discussions, and showcases of good practice where arts and media organisations have collaborated to support displaced peoples tell their own stories.

Packed with insightful and practical tips, the Displaced in Media Conference will showcase multiple projects across arts and news outlets produced by refugees, discuss inclusive strategies and opportunities for creative and professional development for refugees and migrants.
