Kat Ellinger is an author, freelance writer and film critic who currently serves as the editor-in-chief for Diabolique Magazine. She has worked on numerous home video releases providing audio commentaries, on camera interviews and audio-visual or written essays for a diverse range of titles and her writing has also appeared online and in print publications, including Senses of Cinema, Fangoria and Scream Magazine.

Kat is the author of Daughters of Darkness (Devil’s Advocates, Auteur) and All the Colours of Sergio Martino (Arrow Films and Video). She is currently curating and editing a collection of essays written entirely by female scholars entitled A Workshop of Filthy Creation: Sin & Subversion in Hammer’s Gothic Horrors, which is due to be published by Electric Dreamhouse late 2018.
