STUDIOCANAL is proud to announce the release of a brand new boxset of six newly restored films from one of Spain’s most celebrated directors, Pedro Almodóvar.
The boxset features six of the director’s early films – Dark Habits, What Have I Done to Deserve This?, Law of Desire, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Kika, and The Flower of My Secret – on his road to becoming one of the most internationally renowned filmmakers in the world today.
Restoration on the sound and image of all the films were done from the original negatives and supervised by Pedro’s younger brother and long-time producing partner Agustín Almodovóvar.
All the films include accompanying bonus material such as cast interviews, trailers and introductions by critic José Arroyo.
The boxset is available to own on DVD and Blu-ray from 19 September and is also available to pre-order.
To tie in with the release the BFI are currently also hosting a two-month season of Almodóvar’s films.
We are delighted to have three DVD boxsets to give away.
The closing date is Tuesday 11 October 2016.
The competition is open to UK residents only.
