Kim Longinotto is one of Britain’s pre-eminent documentary filmmakers, receiving honours at the Cannes Film Festival and a retrospective at New York’s Museum of Modern Art. Her latest documentary, Salma, about a young woman who rose to fame writing poetry while imprisoned by her husband’s family, is screening at Sheffield Doc/Fest. To mark the moment, Kim will be answering your questions on everything you’d like to know about documentary filmmaking.
