- A pass* to the French Noir season at the BFI Southbank which runs from 17 October – 30 November. The French brought a poetic sensibility to film noir with films such as Pépé le Moko, La Bête humaine and Rififi. Peer into the shadows, where criminals hide out and lovers lurk…
- A copy of Sight and Sound’s November issue, which includes a feature on French Noir where Ginette Vincendeau examines French film noir from the 1930s to end of the 1960s.
- A copy of the BFI Film Guide 100 Film Noirs – where Jim Hillier provides new and revealing insights into film noirs from France, Germany, Japan, India, Mexico and beyond.
- A complementary pass to the French Noir Season runs at Ciné Lumière from 26 Oct-4 Dec, featuring classics of the genre such as Lift to the Scaffold and Le Samouraï. Pass will allow you access to up to five films of your choice. Tickets being subject to availability.
