Upcoming library closures

Please be aware that the BFI Reuben Library will be closed from Saturday 4 May, reopening Friday 10 May due event bookings and ongoing building works. We apologise for any inconvenience this closure may cause, please check back here for further updates.

About the library

Our library holds the world’s largest collection of books, journals and digitised material about film, television and the moving image, free to access – whether you’re a serious researcher or just stopping by on your way to a film. We have state-of-the-art scanning facilities and an easy-to-use database to point you in the right direction if needed.

The library hosts a year-round programme of talks and events.
