There are many films I would have liked to have on this list but being forced to narrow it down to ten meant saying goodbye to many brilliant films. My top ten list represents films that have had a big impact on my view of cinema and reflect world views of great importance. All these filmmakers are masters. I really wanted to include Exit Through the Gift Shop (Banksy) to take a provocative bet on the future, but it is very hard to choose a recent film when you are up against these masters.
