The list is not in order, though The Searchers must always come top. The order and the list itself change depending on the day, the mood (In the Mood for Love should surely be there too), the memory... I’ve made several lists thinking about the films’ importance in the history of cinema, aesthetic pinnacles and their impact on me, but I’d rather choose those films that I always want to see again. Films that make me laugh, think, or feel, or that transport me to another world. Films I can’t stop watching if I find them, no matter the hour, on TV.
