I don’t know what the greatest films ever are. I’d rather suggest a sort of self-portrait through those films and filmmakers who, for various reasons, have been with me throughout the years. I miss some more recent films by the likes Terrence Malick, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Gus van Sant, Nathaniel Dorsky, but I guess they still have to wait a while to find their places in my film history. Maybe in 2022…
