From the silent era to the 21th century, I have chosen some monsters I love. Here are films containing grandly beautiful cinemtic movements, like the dialogue by Jacques Prévert for Les enfants du paradis, camera movements and lighting for The Song Lantern, and the one and only Buster Keaton’s movements in The General, which are all perfect; I am also amazed by the excessiveness of Welles and Rocha. Ogawa’s last film and Weerasetakul’s work are brilliant examples for freedom of multi-narratives. These are monsters with delicate and daring movements that are the future of cinema.
