Synopsis

Drama. Evelia, known as Eve, works as a chambermaid in a large hotel in Mexico City. She has the 21st floor to clean but her ambition is to be moved up to the more prestigious (and better-paid) 42nd floor. Her colleague Miriam, known as Minitoy, is usually an encouragement to her. Eve encounters hotel guests in various states of control of their lives, and she wonders if one of them might offer her alternative work. When she is unhappy about her promotion chances she decides to take it up with the management.
