Harry Rosenmerck decides to leave his family in New York and move to Nazareth to start a pig farm. Harry’s new enterprise initially creates a conflict with the local community but his disagreement with the town Rabbi, Moshe Cattan slowly turns into a friendship that leads Harry to re-evaluate his relationship with his estranged family, including his ex-wife, his 34-year-old student daughter, and his playwright son David.
