Synopsis
In Syria, Oum Yazan and her middle class family find themselves trapped inside their Damascus apartment while the city is under siege during the Syrian Civil War. She turns her apartment into a safe harbour for her family and neighbours, trying to protect them from the war outside. But when bombs threaten to destroy the building and with snipers and burglars stalking the streets, Oum Yazan’s single-minded determination to protect her family is severely tested by outside forces.
