A film capturing the travels of Indian Prime Minster, Jawaharlal Nehru, around the Soviet Union for 16 days in June 1955. Jawaharlal Nehru's visit to the Soviet Union to help bring about world peace in June 1955 is filmed. Nehru travels around various parts of the country, witnessing the factory production of steel and metallurgical works in Siberia and Georgia. He witnesses the construction and operation of the Hydroelectric Station on the banks of the Volga River, and visits the memorial for the Battle of Stalingrad (1942-1943). A common evening recreational activity was going to the ballet, where he sees a performance of "Swan Lake" in Moscow.
