Film details


In 1931, Soviet film director Sergei Eisenstein travels to Mexico to direct his new film ‘Que Viva Mexico’. When he arrives at the city of Guanajuato he is chaperoned by his guide Palomino Cañedo and encounters a new culture that influences his practice as a filmmaker and forces him to re-evaluate his life in the Soviet Union.
