Levison Wood reaches the last leg of his expedition. Accompanied by his old friend and guide Binod, he tracks the mountains from eastern Nepal into the final country of his journey: Bhutan. Few outsiders ever get to see Bhutan, as the government places strict limits on the number of tourists. Levison has a rare opportunity to explore its spectacular Himalayan scenery, experience colourful festivals and historic monasteries and meet its people, who measure their country's wealth on Gross National Happiness rather than Gross Domestic Product. Levison and Binod plan to walk into the country's mystical eastern regions towards the world's highest unclimbed peak: Ghankar Puensem, the country's holiest mountain, which mountaineers are forbidden to climb. ©Channel 4 publicity
