Synopsis
In Wyoming, several years after the American Civil War, bounty hunter John Ruth is travelling to the town of Red Rock with dangerous criminal Daisy Domergue to collect a reward for her capture. Along the way, they encounter Major Marquis Warren, a former Union soldier, turned bounty hunter, and one Chris Mannix who claims to be Red Rock’s new sheriff. When a blizzard forces them all to take shelter at a stagecoach mountain stopover, Minnie's Haberdashery, they find themselves snowed in with a motley group of strangers, including a former Confederate general, the (English) local hangman and a Mexican who explains that Minnie is away visiting her mother. As the night goes on, events unfold, secrets are unearthed and lies, revenge and murder are soon in the air.
