Documentary. A look at the life of the Japanese artist Ushio Shinohara, who produced paintings by donning boxing gloves and punching paint onto the canvas. He was initially feted by the New York art scene when he moved there in the 1960s but failed to find commercial success. He is marriage to fellow artist Noriko, who produces drawings that tell the story of Cutie and Bullie, thinly veiled alter-egos of the pair, is also explored.
