Historical Drama/Romance. In the years leading up to the First World War, a group of artists lead by AJ Munnings live and work at the Lamorna Valley estate on the Cornish coast. Munnings is at the heart of a complex love triangle, also involving his wife Florence and Gilbert Evans, the land agent in charge of the estate. The film is an adaptation of the novel written by Jonathan Smith which is based on real events in the life of artist and former President of the Royal Academy, AJ Munnings.
