Synopsis

A contemporary romance based on a classic Arabic story often likened to Romeo and Juliet. Young lovers Qays and Layla court controversy when Qays begins to graffiti poems of forbidden passion across the town. Set against the escalating Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Habibi features original Sufi poetry.
