Drama which is a follow-up to Hot Sun Film's first short The KIBERA KID. Filmed in the slums of Kibera, Nairobi, TOGETHERNESS SUPREME is based on the true story of a young man from the slums, Evans Kangethe Kamau. Kamau is an artist and dreamer, Otieno a musician and a hustler. They dream of changing the political situation. Both fall in love with Alice , a preacher's daughter. All three, coming from three different tribes live in Kibera, east Africa's largest shantytown. Through an exploration of the tribal tensions and on-the-ground political campaign leading up to the December 2007 election in Kenya as well as the post-election violence, they realise that their future lies in unity ('pamoja' in Kiswahili).
