Film details


Hans Botha is a farmer married to the ex-teacher Martie, who dies tragically after being bitten by a snake. Hans and their daughter Marietjie go to Johannesburg to patent his peanut-sorting machine so he can make enough money to return to the farm. The big city is foreboding and dangerous but in the end the goodhearted farmer and his little girl finds happiness. ©Mimosa Films
