Synopsis

Tragi-comedy, set in 1968 in East Germany, centring on the adventures of Grandma Otti and her twelve-year-old grandson Holger. Otti receives attentions from two elderly men, old Nazi Fisch-Winkler, and former left-wing Spartacus fighter Karl Wegner and she favours Karl. Holger does some amateur sleuthing and learns about women and revolution, and inadvertently puts Karl in danger.
