Comedy based on the true events surrounding Elliot Tiber and the inadvertent part he played in making the Woodstock festival happen in the 1960s. In an attempt to help his parents, who own the rundown and struggling El Monaco motel in the Catskills, interior designer Elliot Tiber has the idea of drumming up business by contacting the producers of a hippie music festival recently cancelled in a neighbouring town. Finding a new venue on land on a neighbour's farm the festival is back on.
