Synopsis

Modern updating of Chekhov's 'Ivanov'. University lecturer Jon becomes disillusioned with his life, his work, his course on Chekhov and his marriage to the sensitive manic-depressive Anna. Later he becomes the uncertain bridegroom of a former student, Thora, who is half his age.
