Documentary. Architect Michael Reynolds has designed and built a revolutionary community in Taos, New Mexico consisting of homes that are fully self-sustaining and built from other people's waste. The film follows the efforts of Reynolds and his followers to introduce a "sustainable building test site" law as well as their trips to Little Andaman Island after the tsunami and Mexico after Hurricane Katrina to build new homes for the victims.
