Synopsis

Love-triangle story. Chander and Lata are childhood sweethearts, but come from very different social backgrounds. The two are separated when Lata's family moves to Bombay. Later Chander follows her there and gets a job in a music shop. However, Lata has since become a well-known poet, and is engaged to Prakash. Her friend Basanti falls in love with Chander, but he is still in love with Lata.
