Synopsis

Animated (clay-mation) film which tells the story of a young writer who is out of work and currently writing a novel. He wins the lottery and then discovers that the lottery authorities aim to kill him rather than pay out. This leads him to reflect on his beliefs and values and ultimately, the meaning of existence. Set in Gauteng, Johannesburg, "Tengers" is a term coined by the director for the residents of Gauteng.
