Synopsis

Documentary-drama about the displacement of a family due to the conflicts in the Congo over the past forty years, and the legacy and impact of that. The Laplaine family live in different parts of Europe and Africa, and when his brother Max disappears, Kaze tries to find out what has happened. In going through Max's things he discovers materials which show Max has been looking into his identity and roots. He finds videos made during Max's trips to various places, including Lisbon, Kinshasa and Brussels and interviews with their white father, black mother and brothers and sisters. Believing him to be in Cambodia Kaze heads off there.
