LENZ (2006)

Film details

Filmmaker Lenz leaves his Berlin home intending to carry out background reseach into Georg Büchner's novel, 'Lenz'. Instead, longing to see his young son, Noah, he goes to Zermatt in the Swiss Alps. There he also finds his ex-wife, Natalie, whom he still loves. For a brief period they enjoy renewed love for each other and a close familiy life. But like his literary, alter ego, Lenz's volatile behaviour soon overshadows their happiness and Noah and Natalie return to Zurich, leaving Lenz alone in the mountains.
