Whole New Thing (2005)

Film details

Emerson is an adolescent who has been brought up by liberal-minded hippie parents and taught at home. Worried about his lack of social contacts and preparation for the real world, his mother organises for him to start at the local school. His intelligence, difference and lack of knowledge of social mores and rules cause problems for both him and others, especially when he develops a crush on a male teacher.
