Synopsis

Surfing comedy. Kat, fresh from graduating in journalism, gets her first assignment, to do a piece on a big wave surfer known as "The Monk". She travels to Hawaii, but finds her work cut out since The Monk does not want to be found by her and the locals do not help her. She is also encumbered with an accompanying boyfriend, and a slightly crazy ex-surfer guide, as well as receiving unwelcome amorous attentions and finding herself wanted by the FBI.
