Synopsis

An inept thief, Jack Flange, leaves Sydney and goes to work for hard-up oyster farmers in the isolated Hawksbury River area. After stealing money which he posts to himself, the money ends up in the hands of one of his neighbours, and Jack is left pondering which neighbour has it.
