Television performance of the Greek tragedy `Antigone' by Sophocles in a modern adaption by the French playwright Jean Anouilh, written and first performed during the Nazi occupation. A young woman facing a morally corrupt world raises powerful questions of human interaction in regard to collaboration, responsibility and personal integrity.
