Synopsis

Set in Jerusalem 1981. Rachel is a forty-two year-old widow with two teenage daughters who wants to join a new settlement on the West Bank. However the acceptance committee demands that she should remarry and prove that she and her daughters can meet the group's strict religious and ideological standards. When her younger daughter is raped, leading to accusations of promiscuity, Rachel has to choose between hushing up the story or fighting to clear her daughter's name.
