Synopsis
The second programme in the eight-part fourth series, following the work of environmental health officers employed by the London Borough of Haringey. Features a pest control officer armed with sausages tackling a plague of rats, and a scene at the mortuary, where a young drug user is tested for HIV. Mr Edmund Trebus the Polish war veteran is in Trentfield residential home in North London suffering from suspected hypothermia. He has only 72 hours to decide whether to give up his long fought-for independence and stay in the home, or go back to the cold house that caused his illness.
