Drama. In 1936, two ageing, unmarried sisters, Ursula and Janet, live in a seaside house in Cornwall. One day a young man is washed up on the shore, his memory gone, and they take him in, eventually learning that he is German, a talented violinist and the survivor of a submarine disaster.
