Documentary set in the Transkei, an area of abundant rainfall and large rivers but where people in the villages have no access to basic amenities like clean water. The story focusses on the daily life and struggles of Nolindile Mdatshwa, one of several women from the village of Sicambeni, who has to walk long distances each day carrying heavy buckets of water from a muddy stream.
