Opens with footage of the Royal Australian Navy boarding a Spanish pirate fishing boat in Antarctica. With Spain taking up the revolving Presidency of the European Union, there were fears that there might be backsliding in the halting efforts of the Europeans to stop overfishing. The programme visits African waters and reports that Senegal has decided to take a stand against the bullying tactics of the European Union, which stands accused of offering aid packages in return for gaining access to the coastal waters of poor African countries.
