Synopsis
Nineteen year-old Paul has decided to do military service to get away from the tedium of small town life and to spite his left-wing family. But one day he goes absent without leave, planning to stay at his parents unoccupied bungalow. However he finds his older brother Max and his girlfriend, Lene, already there. The three get along splendidly until they are contacted by Paul's barracks. Paul is initially persuaded to return voluntarily but then changes his mind. Lene on a whim makes a pass at him - and Paul is smitten. Things go from bad to worse as Max throws him out and a mad scheme to run off to Africa collapses...
