Synopsis

Dayashankar Pande is from the north of India who comes to Mumbai when he inherits a house located in an old building. There is a long time ocupant, Saraswati Joshi who lives there with her mother and pays a meagre rent. Dayashankar wants the tenants out aand enlists the help of a O.P. Yadav, a childhood friend of his, who happens to be a policeman. When Yadav meets Saraswati, he does not find it easy to help Dayashankar and tries to keep both parties happy.
