Synopsis

In this edition of the monthly series on the world of music, Italian tenor Giovanni Martinelli talks about his career, shows excerpts from some of his early films and gives a masterclass to a young student tenor. In a segment on opera for children, Owen Brannigan sings the part of Noah in a report on the production of Britten's NOYE's FLUDDE, accompanied by the Finchley Children's Music Group. The last segment, directed by David Gladwell, looks at a new ballet choreographed by Ernest Berk.
