Drama. Djomeh is an Afghan refugee living near an Iranian mountain village and working on a small dairy farm. He shares living quarters with another refugee, Habib. His boss, Mr Mahmoud, is fond of Djomeh, unlike the villagers, who are quick to show their animosity towards `outsiders'. Djomeh, a romantic, confesses to his boss that he has fallen in love with the daughter of a local shopkeeper. Unfortunately for Djomeh, he is forbidden to speak to her under the rules of Iranian law, and so asks Mr Mahmoud to act on his behalf, since he has no family.
