Synopsis

Comedy drama. In a wartorn area of Beirut, two families, having fled the hostilities in the region years previously, have settled in what is known locally as the `pink house', actually a disused mansion. But now that the economy is on the upturn, the government wishes to demolish the mansion and build a shopping mall on the site. Members of the community react in different ways to the news, boycotting each other's businesses and sparking public protest.
