Very Mean Men (2000)

Film details

Black comedy. To keep a customer sitting at the bar, so that he will make as many tips as possible, a bartender starts to tell the tale of two warring mob clans in the San Fernando Valley. Everything is peaceful between the Minettis and Paddy Mulroney's gang, until Paddy complains that the 'boys' led by the head of the Minetti family, Gino, are taking over his 'business' in the Valley. Gino's son, Paulie, gets into hot water when his gang have a bad meal at Mulroney's diner, and the bullets start flying on both sides. Since the bartender is making the whole story up as he goes along, he changes the tale as and when his customer interrupts.
