Film details


Comedy drama. In America's Deep South, when an elderly woman, Peggy, dies after stumbling over the wooden legs of her married lover, GW, her daughters, LaVonda, Latrelle and Sissy meet to arrange the funeral. There are other problems to deal with such as their neighbour, Noleta, who is the wife of GW, and with Latrelle's son Ty, who is a soap opera star in Los Angeles. Then there is the planned release from the local mental institution of their older brother, Brother Boy, who was sentenced to 25 years for the crime of being homosexual. His real 'crime' is evident however - he believes that he is actually Country & Western singer Tammy Wynette.
