Horror. Dr Harry Ballard is a lecturer specialising in research into Satanic cults. When he receives a warning from the Black Lodge, a coven of devil worshippers, he ignores it, until he is abducted. Narrowly escaping a gruesome fate, Harry informs the police, who are disinclined to believe his story. Soon afterwards Harry finds his girlfriend mutilated, with Harry's confession written in blood on the wall above the body. Escaping before the police arrive, Harry turns to his assistant for help, but he too is viciously murdered. Harry learns from a former member of the coven that its high priest, Le Vaillant, wishes to `deliver his soul to the demons'. The scene is set for a confrontation between Harry and Le Vaillant.
