Synopsis

Drama set in the ancient Japanese capital of Kyoto, 1895. The militia are selecting new recruits and in tests against the militia's best warrior, two men stand out and are taken on: Tashiro, a lower-ranking samurai, and Kano, a handsome young man. Tashiro is immediately smitten by Kano.
