Synopsis

Drama. Two men work as decoding specialists at a naval base off the coast of San Francisco at the end of World War II. Here their work mainly consists of producing letters designed to confuse the enemy, but the story also concentrates on their private lives. One, Frank, has two wives: one of Japanese origin who is forced to hide in their apartment. The other, Samuel, can only make love to his wife with another man present.
