Film details

Drama. Anna, a wildlife ranger living in southern Africa, has an unusually intense relationship with her brother Marius, a Lutheran pastor. However, she has also drawn closer to Stone, an African-American lawyer who has come to live in Africa and is reluctant to return home. When poachers kill an elephant belonging to Anna's herd, she and Stone set off alone to find the culprit, who, it is discovered, is Anna's assistant, Naniserri. Naniserri is shot by a paramilitary conservation unit, an incident which alienates Anna from the rest of the community and leads to a distancing in the relationship with her brother.
